CLOSING NIGHT at Club Zukunft

After 20 years, the legendary Club Zukunft in Zurich had to close its doors in March 2025. On the very last evening, Kay-Zee and I played a DJ set together and simultaneously on four turntables – as we often did many years ago.
Back in the day, we often mixed with four turntables at the same time at parties. Zukunft invited us to do it once again for this special night – the very last evening of an era in Zurich's club history.
We started at midnight at Waxy Bar and played with a tear in our eye until we couldn’t stand anymore.

There are only a few pictures from that time, which makes me love this one of Kay-Zee and me even more. Esther Eppstein took it in the late '90s in her no less legendary Message Salon Caravan.
Kay-Zee is a wonderful DJ and musician from whom I learned a lot about DJing—simply by watching him play.
